I put a folder on a co-workers desktop called "Secret Animal Porn"

and I loaded it with a bunch of harmless photos of animals hugging, kissing, etc. It scared her half to death until she actually looked at the photos.

Why move to a folder? Right Click on the desktop, go to View and uncheck "Show
