It's more of a bragging right of having been able to do it and experience it
than it is a bragging right that you were able to kill a giraffe.
It'd be fun. I would love to go. However, I'd rather hunt wild pigs from a chopper. Now that would be fun! That takes some skill too. Hitting a moving target while you are moving.
As for your serial killer theory, it doesn't really work. If it was true, why are hunters not some of the greatest mass murderers out there? Typical liberal backwards thinking. Of course, serial killers don't have a good reason to kill. Hunters do. Not to mention serial killers kill humans. Hunters don't. Another huge distinction you should keep in mind.
It's somewhat disturbing that people don't see the difference between hunting and torturing animals and humans like serial killers enjoy doing though.
