So I just heard a discussion about "free" cell phones. One person insisted that they had it contracted out to get free phones every upgrade period. He said there would be a class action suit if that contract with him wasn't upheld? So here's my question: Why can carriers change their plans and rates whenever they want without consequence? Is there something in the contract to allow that?
