The effect you appealed to describes ones self evaluation not the evaluation of
others. Self evaluation is a very different task than evaluating others. It is dangerous to extrapolate results outside the bounds of what researchers claim. Perhaps you should look for evidence that supports your claims. I'm sure there is some available
