RE: You're down 35 to 0 against Utah
I think the bigger problem was coming out completely unprepared, yet again, for another BIG game. It happened with the yewts year after year.

Yeah but come on man. It's your last game at BYU. Go out swinging!
Bgash
7/30/16 4:36pm
the way the game went, he kind of did go down swinging.

Desperate for some BYU football lol

I am still traumatized by the postgame show on the drive home

How often are tipped passes intercepted, much less intercepted multiple times in a game?
WorfoSAUR
7/30/16 4:45pm
Allowing the opposing team to tip that many passes isn't just a fluke. It's part of the game and can/should be avoided.
Bgash
7/30/16 4:50pm
He should have been intercepted 3 more times but the Utah DB dropped it
Upanddown
7/30/16 6:35pm
this is true. It actually could have been worse for Mangum
blucoug18
7/30/16 6:39pm
not really. Drops are as much part of the game as tipped balls
BlueBlitzkrieg
7/30/16 6:42pm
yes, could have been worse. They dropped balls thrown right to their numbers

7/30/16 6:50pm
utah usually has a gameplan for BYU's passing attack. which includes getting

And daring refs to call pass interference, knowing if they do it enough they

The OL could barely get out of their stances the first five minutes

7/30/16 5:23pm
Tipped passes that are intercepted AND RUN BACK FOR 6. That was crazy!
ol' Blue Eyes
7/30/16 6:19pm
Utah did it a lot last year watch the Cal game they intercepted

If I had a reliable kicker, I absolutely would that early in the game
Coop
7/30/16 5:15pm
Ok. Did we have a reliable kicker?
Bgash
7/30/16 5:19pm
IIRC, he's the most accurate FG kicker in BYU history
Coop
7/30/16 5:26pm
Fair enough.
Bgash
7/30/16 5:32pm
It's easy to sit back now and armchair coach that decision
Seasider
7/30/16 5:16pm
Decent points. But to me, the whole instilling confidence argument kind of goes out the window when it's still 35-3
Bgash
7/30/16 5:22pm
I would agree with you if this happened in the 2nd half
Seasider
7/30/16 6:37pm
Yeah that's fair

7/30/16 9:32pm
Allowing a fake punt in the 2nd half was the biggest killer
