difference to BYU at this point. Same thing goes for Wyoming over Eastern Michigan and every other game listed in the post. Utah has already beaten us so they have continued bragging rights no matter what happens to them the rest of the way. I suppose for recruiting purposes it might help us if they have a bad season and I don't cheer them on anyway.
The sad truth is that best case scenario for this season is the Poinsettia bowl against a mediocre MWC team. A big downside to independence. I'll still watch but am not going to pretend that the results of those other games really matter to BYU at this point.
