and to varying degrees when it happens. I'm sure in some classes and majors it's blatant. In other classes it probably seldom if ever comes up. I would think that if the U was as anti-Mormon as it is anti-BYU it would experience enrollment problems in a serious way.
I have relatives that have attended the U who said the anti-church stuff isn't too bad (except for when BYU shows up for a football game). None of them have claimed it isn't there, however. One issue is that the U has a fair number of LDS students who have serious issues with the church, and they share their negative feelings openly with anybody who will listen. I'm not sure how much that is the school's fault. And yes, BYU has a handful of those students too, but they are pretty isolated.
