I woke up this morning to my wife and wonderful ladies making me breakfast and insisting that I just get myself ready. I followed their instructions. We left the house on time to get to church 10 minutes early to find that my young men rose to the challenge I had issued last week and arrived early to have the sacrament ready and all were ready to bless and pass the sacrament without the help of the adult leadership. The talks all seemed pleasant.
We got home and my wife told me to take a nap. I obliged her request. I am now having the dinner of my choosing while my wife and two girls tell me how much they'll miss me. In the morning a shuttle will come pick them up and they will go on vacation until I join them on July 21st. During that time, I will do two-a-days and eat endless amounts of protein. I will also take lengthy naps and broaden my understanding on topics I have not had the time to research. This is my Father's Day.
