and sharing revenue from a NY6 game (which is likely most years especially if you add BYU/BSU/SDSU/CSU) What the total comes out to per team. Maybe the number is already out there and I am sure it is less than what BYU makes indy. The other question is what is the difference in tv revenue for the Bball program. An uptick in viewers and higher bball attendance would bring in more money. Can BYU still rent out their tv equipment to make a profit in a conference?
I wouldn't be shocked if ESPN low-balls us in the next round of negotiations and forces us to look to Fox/CBS to get a deal worked out.
I think we really won't know what the best path forward is until we have #'s in front of us from ESPN and the AAC. I still tend to think independence will pay more no matter what....but if the difference is small---then we mind as well join the AAC.
