maybe i'm crazy but i kind of cringe when i see parents of players respond to
trolls and internet haters. In a sense i would hope they would be able to block out the noise and channel their energy towards their kids and the team. Now i think its possible she can take those insults and turn them into fuel which can be a good thing, but in general I think its a good idea to ignore internet haters and to not read comments. Some of the negative comments can stick and get in your head if you are not careful. You have to be very confident in yourself to go into those muddy waters. I applaud her for defending her kid which is what a good mom does. But to me responding to these types of comments only acts to validate and encourage them to go further because they know they have everyones attention. You can't say you don't care about what they think and then care about what they think enough to respond. If she reads this...i think shes great and I don't blame her at all and Ute fans annoy me too, so i totally get it. We are I think lucky to have her son on our team.
