Phone's Hard drive/Storage. I did have a SIM and MicroSD card in there, but the
photos weren't being stored there for some reason..back again to point 1

I fried the motherboard on my PC and took it to a PC repair store and they were able to recover the hard drive.

Depends. Most cells have encrypted drives, if the mainboard is fried, the encryption chip
