When you buy a car you are buying miles. So low mile vehicles are probably worth more than you will have to pay for them, relatively. So shop for a low mile truck.

An XLT with the 302 package is very nicely loaded so a good buy. Only lacks a few things that the more expensive packages have. Like auto AC, moon roof, leather seats, etc. So if you can get by without those things an XLT can be a great buy.

You'll have to decide about engine. I've asked many techs which they think is better and most say the 5.4. But some like the Ecoboost too. Take some research here and making your own choice.
