and I had shared it with a coworker of mine and said hey our boss is going to love this and then she texted me the next day with the news of his death and we were like no way he just recorded this thing. And to be honest you can kind of see it in his face and his expressions that something was off. And so when we revealed the video to a crowd at a retirement party wishing David a happy retirement everyone was like wait--is that gilber gottfried? Didn't he just die? It was crazy. I felt strangely connected to him after that and watched his documentary and listened to some of his podcasts. Very interesting character. He nailed the cameo. He was funny to the very end.
