All the best programs in college basketball have a Head Coach who will stick with the program when other schools come calling with more money. Young was already getting NBA head coach interest and could have said no to BYU. Instead he chose to come back to the state of Utah and coach at his wife's alma mater.
This doesn't seem like a head coach that is using BYU as a stepping stone. This looks like a guy who could stay for a long time.
I don't know if he's going to be good on the college level, it might not work out, but I bet we can retain him if BYU excels and other programs come calling.
