Obviously the money is a huge factor in a decision like this.
But I assure you that it is extremely naive to assume that the money is the biggest motivating factor for Richie. The money is a big deal. I am not saying it is not. And even if we were living in 2005 and NIL was not a thing, it would be silly for Richie to not consider the opportunity to follow Pope to UK.

Whether Richie chooses to stay at BYU or to go to UK, it is an extremely unique opportunity to be paid 100s of thousands of dollars, on top of having every living expense paid for, on top of getting a free education.

Maybe you were not intending to do so, but a statement like "That's what he's about" comes across as an unnecessary attack on an individual's character, based entirely on speculation.
