Flying out is making it hard to walk away if the deal is *iffy*.

I went to do a truck swap/trade in Idaho and wasted two days, meals and a hotel, but the test drive wasn’t that great (still a nice car), so I left and drove home. I was probably out the equivalent of $750 in todays money due to gas food/lodging.

Had I had to buy a plane ticket on top of it, I may have taken the deal.
