In the defense of the industry, our prices from suppliers have gone up between 25 and 75% on our most purchased items over the last 4 years. It is impossible to keep the doors open without either raising the prices or cheaping out on the product (some places are doing both). It is unfortunate, and I think there is some sort of reckoning coming for fast casual restaurants because it just doesn't seem sustainable to charge people $20 for a meal.
