Not only does he want to transfer to a school we play but more importantly we lost out on another commit that might have come in his stead. Its not like we can overcommit more players this year. You cant exceed more than 25 in any given year. Is it a big deal? Not that much, no but you cant afford to set a precedent where other kids commit and sit on a byu offer hoping for a bigger one to come along and expect byu to be nice and let them out of their commitment penalty fre

Beyond that, theres just something a little fishy about the whole thing.
