I think it is the stupidest thing when ute fans or aggie fans use the term "zoob" like it is some derogatory word. I'm sure to them it is, but it just sounds so juvenile. I came to the realization recently that the term "yewt" is almost the exact same way. Therefore, I won't be using it anymore.

It just seems to me that using terms like that is the epitome of little-brotherness. I used to think it was cool to insult people by calling them funny things that rhymed with their name.... when I was in 2nd grade.

I clicked on a link in a post the other day that took me to the USU forum, and I saw another post that said something about beating the "boogars." Really?? That's the best they can do?

I don't care if anyone else continues to use the term "yewt." I just thought I would share my insights on the matter.
