If they do end up tied, then it will likely be in a bad spot
The odds of a 4th place team standing pat int he lottery is at 10%. That was before the Jazz went and won tonight, so now that they're splitting those odds, I'm not sure what the percentage is. Anyway, this means there is a 90% chance the Jazz won't be picking 4th. So, if the Jazz and Boston are tied, that means either the top 3 all won those spots in the lottery (extremely unlikely), or that 1 or more teams passed up both the Jazz and Boston in the lottery. This means, that coin flip would likely be for determining 5-6 or 6-7.
