I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile about 7 years ago and have never looked back. Data coverage is weak from Nephi to Cedar City and in the middle of the Nevada desert but it's perfectly fine in the places that I spend 99.9% of my time. In Utah County my speeds are good and I've never dropped a call. I haven't had trouble in any of the cities that I've travelled to either.
