It used to say on the BYU style guide that use of "BYU tan"
was discouraged, but it looks like that guide is disabled (or moved somewhere else and I cannot find it).
I've heard a university wide rebranding is going to happen (with gray officially replacing tan), but it should have already happened based on what I heard at the time.
