The better offense would have masked how many great plays he made, and some wouldn't have been as key to the outcome of games.
Other plays wouldn't have even been made. For example, the safety against MTSU this year. Better offense doesn't turn the ball over there and scores a TD. MTSU isn't then three yards away from the end zone where KVN can get a safety. Another example is the first TD against SDSU. Hoffman makes the catch and rolls into the end zone it is a TD. SDSU doesn't take over next to the goal line where he can strip and fall on it for a TD.
