There are only so many 'other teams urinal cakes' they can make in a year
So not sure his brand of motivation can get them to 6 wins.
On the other hand the entire "he'll find a way to stick it to BYU fans" is the right way of looking at it. Clearly there is a ceiling to what Whitt can offer the Utes. On a normal MWC season he was getting 8 wins. In a PAC 10+2 season he is going 5 wins (with most of those coming OUTSIDE of the PAC). If anything he is sticking it to his own fans by eking out a winning record this season.
I think having Whitt up at the U is exactly what we want: built in mediocrity for years to come.
