I think most evidence indicates he's not a hater.
Last I heard, Norm still owned a home in Provo and may very well retire there next year.
If memory serves, he sent all of his kids to BYU, even years after he'd moved on to other jobs.
He won't grease the skids for RM transfers to a huge recruiting rival (neither would I), and he once failed to give gushing praise to an 8-5, Riley-captained BYU team...
To me that makes him, at worst, a stubborn football coach.
In any case, I hope he doesn't hate BYU. It'd be sad if he did. He meant an awful lot to our program, and helped give us a lot of awesome moments and memories.
