There is a genuine prejudice by the UC system against the Cal State system . .
that can never be truly appreciated unless you have actually lived in California for a significant amount of time and have seen it up close.
UCLA and Cal would drop dead first before ever letting the likes of Cal State Fresno and Cal State San Diego into the good-ol'-boys conference club. IMO, BYU has a better chance of getting into the PAC over those 2 schools because of it.
The prejudice I am referring to is both real and spectacular.
