I'm trying to fly to SLC tonight from Phoenix, but our plane had maintenance issues. During the hour and a half I was sitting in the plane waiting to be told anything by US Air, I ask the kid next to me if he's from Utah. He said that he's not but that he plays football for U of A. Free safety, 5th year senior. Really nice kid. Heading to Provo to see his girlfriend for the weekend. Based on my limited interaction, he's the type of kid I could cheer for. Well spoken, polite, even with the frustration of the delay and eventual cancellation. Think I'll cheer for him this year.
