That's not peritoneal dialysis, right?
My dad is facing that, though has been stable enough to not need to start it yet, but has had the "wire up" surgery.
Has 1.5 years on the transplant list, we're hoping dialysis never has to happen.

No, PD is different and is preferable for most people compared to hemodialysis
