I'm sure the board's decision tree says: 5-7 or less - fire coaching staff, 7-5/8-4, cautious renew. 9-3+, strong support. Six-6 will make it very hard to decide what to do. Do they move on and hope or hold and hope? I would love to watch the frustration. It would be especially good if they went to a bowl game and lost to someone not at all highly rated, and actually ended the season 6-7.
