My four kids all start school tomorrow and I sat them down this evening for the annual motivational pep talk to encourage them to work as hard as they possibly can during the school year so that one day they don't wake up after high school only to realize that they are students at the U. So far so good, honor roll all around and the two oldest maintained straight A's the last several years.

I hate to thank the U for anything but as a father I must express my sincere appreciation for the motivation you provide my children, nothing puts the fear of God into them like the thought of winding up at the U after high school. So here it is, only happens once a year...
