Plasma is the best for dark rooms.
Until 4k OLED becomes the norm, plasma will give you the best picture.
If you utilize a receiver, 2 hdmi inputs shouldn't be a big deal. Otherwise it could be problematic.
Ultimately, go for it at that price point.
