I like Musashi's history better than Sun Tzu's... but his writing isn't quite
as good, or at least doesn't come through translation as well. But if you know his back story it really brings meaning into his philosophy.
If you can watch the documentary about Miyamoto (I think it was history channel) - it is actually very good.
