Our OL (for a myriad of reasons) was awful. (offensive scheme was a mess too) I'll bet if Sorensen had stayed and started at BYU instead of Nelson, BYU fans would be hating on Sorensen, saying he was an awful QB, etc.

It would have taken a really, really special QB to have been successful during those years--like Peyton Manning special.

If BYU's OL was just BYU average during the Nelson years, Nelson would be thought of as an OK to pretty decent BYU QB.

All the fans who go overboard dissing on Nelson, are just revealing their own ignorance about football.
