My impression of BYU crowds and student body is that they are full of fatties now much more than in previous decades, particularly the men. Matches national trend to be sure, but I'd say we're securely on the cutting edge of the obesity trend.
The ROC at bball games is smuggling some tires under those white t-shirts AND that's just the sportier kids that make it out to games. Imagine what's back at the library and in the dorm rooms in front of gaming screens.
However, they do appear to have nice skin!
