No reason to feel sorry about anything. He was one of the very, very few who get the opportunity to play college sports and get a free education. And it's not like he was bound for greatness and got a heart condition or something. That's something to feel somewhat sorry about. This is just a kid who wasn't good enough. It happens. Not the end of the world. Kid got to do something not many in life will ever get to do. Spare us.
