I haven't put money down but absolutely would get one IF
their crash testing gets the 5 stars they are engineering it for. I have a Corolla I drive to work in and that is all I ever do with it. To go from 36 MPG to 80+ would be sweet. Also love the sticker price. I'm sure it won't be a fun car to drive but when all I need is a cheap ride to work I am game as long as its safe. Cost of ownership would be dirt cheap.
