I thought the kids played very well despite the coaching issues. I was approached 5 times and engaged in conversation. Has to be the nicest fans I have ever been around. Our seats were way up at the top. 3rd level to compare to our stadium. All bathrooms were on the first level. So it was a hike and a half to get to restrooms. Had a corndog with honey as instructed by local folk. Good stuff. The veiw from our seats was breathtaking. Literally after walking up and down the stairs in that elevation. LOL. It was beautiful to see a game there. The game atmoshpere was very well executed. Never was I bored. They always had music going or some give away. Very entertaining. My cousin who i brought to the game said UH played better than he thought against BYU. He is a Horn.. Great overall trip wish I could have stayed longer.

Agree with a lot of your thoughts. Fans at BYU were great. jeepins and I were walking around the concourse and a fan BYU fan came up to us and gave us some local fare as a gift.... a Cougar Tail, which is a long maple iced donut/eclair looking thing. He said it was a tradition of his to buy a Cougar Tail and seek out an opposing fan to give it to. Very cool idea!! The selection of different food and concessions there were nice too.....besides hotdogs/burgers, they had the aforementioned corndogs, pulled pork sandwiches, Mexican food, fresh made kettle corn, and some other stuff I am forgetting.

BYU had several traditions/events that occurred during the game that very cool too. I loved the "Y" logo banner that rolled up the student section at the beginning of the 4th qtr.

The other thing I noticed was the PA system was at a perfect volume for playing "get rowdy" music. Loud enough for all to hear, but not so loud that it hurt your ears (like ours). We were even sitting close tot he PA speakers at it was not offensive or painful.

Great time! Hope we get to go back and play BYU or Utah one day soon.
