Cheaper, more comfortable, no crowds, no parking/walking/fighting traffic
Being on ESPN, I don't blame people for not wanting to go, because I realize not everybody is a die-hard fan. Die-hard fans go to the game, casual fans will watch at home unless they are given free tickets, then they MIGHT go.
