BYU is the better team, and would beat Virg. 4 or 5 games out of 7,
but we are playing one game and Virginia definitely has the ability to hang with BYU. FSU 2009, Tulsa, some crap team in 1996, lots of other examples. This type of defeat isn't unique to BYU, it just takes the right circumstances and momentum shifts for a respectable team to beat a better team.
