I pronounce them differently.
Utah is big. I think that some of you believe that Utah is a small piece of land near Cedar City or maybe Provo. I don't know. I've lived in Salt Lake my whole life. When I think of Utah, almost nothing outside of Salt Lake county even counts.

"Sure" and "shore" also don't rhyme when I say them. I hear people from lots of places who make them rhyme. I'm just a bit of a weirdo, I guess.
"Sure" rhymes with"Cure" when I say it.
