All we heard in fall camp from the receiving corp was that they were catching bombs left and right. I was expecting to see Todd Watkins and true freshman Austin Collie out there this year stretching the field.
Why aren't we throwing the ball downfield more? Was Nick Kurtz the only one hauling those in? Can we at least throw the back shoulder pass?
If we don't start stretching the field, we're going to be easier and easier for teams to stop. After watching how many times Tayson saved a drive with his feet during the Houston game, I was not convinced that we would be very good without him. We are very, very lucky to have him.
Anae needs to stretch the field a lot more to take pressure off of Taysom.
