watch lists...If Keaton was considered a top 2-5 QB in the MWC then he should have appeared on watch lists for Heisman, Davey O'Brien, Unitas (if a Senior), Walter Camp, etc...sometimes they are listed as dark horses or just lumped into a massive list...

Same goes for Doak Walker, Outland Trophy, Biletnikoff, Mackey, Lombardi, Rimington, Thorpe, Groza, Guy, Hendricks, etc...

Some get split into their position specific awards and some that are "top" enough for that conference are plugged into Heisman, Walter Camp, and Maxwell awards which are "outstanding" or "player of the year" awards regardless of positions...

Hedge your bets if you are those awarding organizations and list as many as possible to stir as much conversation for your organization and sponsors through out the country at least at the beginning of the season....
