particularly the East Bench of Salt Lake County (between Sugarhouse and Holladay) versus socioeconomically comparable areas along the Wasatch Front with relatively higher LDS concentration (e.g., East Bench of Utah County, Southeastern Davis County, Sandy, Draper, etc.):
1. More diverse (duh)
2. Population is somewhat more politically liberal (especially the farther North you go)
3. Population is somewhat older (with more empty nesters)
4. Average family size is somewhat smaller (and, on average, people start having kids later)
5. Homes are, on average, older
6. Somewhat less keeping up with the Joneses
7. Somewhat less communal mindset (on average, people tend to be more private)
8. Active church members seem, on average, to be somewhat more laissez faire about the church
9. Somewhat better public schools (at least in the Millcreek/Holladay area)
10. More Ute fans
Do you agree with these?
