Hi cougarboard. Long-time lurker here invoking the collective wisdom of the board. I am about to start a job in downtown LA (near the Staples center) and need to find a good place to live that is fairly commutable (preferably near a train station), will be relatively safe for me and my wife, and has a good strong ward. I've lived in ventura county and orange county, but I'm not very familiar with LA County. Any suggestions?
