The only time I ever wrote a letter in disgust to the Athletic Dept and Pres. Samuelson was when BYU fired Crowton. Firing a coach at BYU is different, because you cannot replace them with anyone else and expect consistency. When BYU fired Crowton, they fired the best LDS coach available, with the exception of Whittingham. When Whittingham rejected BYU we had a major problem. There was no one to take the job who was more qualified the Crowton. That is when I wrote the letter. Unless someone is waiting in the wings that is a known commodity and wants to be at BYU, the reality is, no one is more qualified and capable than Bronco. Andy Reid is not walking through that door! If we were any other school, Bronco would be gone at the end of the year. But we are not, so he will stay, and if he doesn't, we may be in for trouble, especially with the schedule we have next year.
