Fans spend time and money to attend a game and/or watch at home-that is a given. If players and coaches only play for one or two quarters, then we should only attend, pay, or watch for one or two quarters which will allow me to do a ton of different things with my time. I don't care about losing, I care when the uniforms of the 100% played all game players walk off the field clean and lose. I also care when the sideline looks like a church meeting-I can do that for free. Can we find a 75 year old coach that is passionate about the game and it shows on the sidelines who believes in his team and wants them to be awesome??? BM made a statement about Jimmy M and everything seems to have gone down hill since - it was something like, "I wish I could be coaching Jimmy M, a guy like him, on my team right now- he would be awesome to coach." Would I want to play for a coach who makes statements like that - regardless if it may not be "what he meant." Just a few thoughts.
