That's pretty cool. Here is a crazy article about the 1955 NBA Finals between
the Pistons (they were still in Fort Wayne at that time, but they moved to Detroit 2 years later) and the Syracuse Nationals (who moved to Philly and became the 76ers in 1963). Mel Hutchins of BYU is mentioned prominently in the article. It was pretty rough and tumble.
