This year may have cured me of a 25 year addiction. I will now be able to save the thousands each year I spend on the Y tix, gear, travel, hotels, tailgating, gameday food, gas, days off from work, and an hour and a half commute each way.
I can avoid Bad announcing, poor scoreboard keeping, horrifying ads, no game day atmosphere, no tailgating support, and being called out constantly by our head coach.
I'm not sure I'll even waste my time going down there for the last two games even though I have the tickets. Oh well, at least I can save $.50 on a meal at CJ.
I can now avoid being called out for leaving early at midnight on a work day when my team doesn't show any guts or desire to win.
If I quit spending all that money: No one will criticize me, when i turn off the TV because our head coach is clueless how to defend against mediocre teams. I can sit in my comfy recliner, turn on the massager to reduce the stress created by our head coach and shut him out whenever I want to and he won't mind.
Thanks Bronco. (blink, blink, blink)
