Those on Cougarboard are inherently fans of the BYU Football brand whereas the vast majority of BYU supporters are fans of the BYU brand. I hope I am both, but I'm starting to feel like more of the latter.
Having a daughter at BYU helps me see your point. She is thriving as a freshman, and football accounts for 0.0001% of her experience (granted, this is a terrible season, but nevertheless...)
