Other than that, for the most part, BYU has played a bunch of very average football teams. Outside of Boise St and UConn, I would say every BYU opponent is ranked somewhere between the low 50s to the high 70s. Texas' record isn't going to be great but they have lost a lot close games to good teams but they are probably near the bottom of the teams BYU has played.

Just sort of interesting. Sometimes I think playing bad opponents helps build chemistry and confidence. It's why so many P5 programs play patsies at the beginning of the season. Just some food for thought.
